Vikom specializes in leasing voice and data communication lines through VSAT systems, delivered by Teleconsult AS through its various projects. Today Vikom AS operates 16 vessels for BW Gas on a 10-year lease, 7 FPSOs and 3 land-based VSAT stations worldwide, with the number of vessels and FPSOs increasing yearly.

 

Dip Tel is active in the development and sale of IP telephony voice systems for small and medium small enterprises. The company is steadily building up a solid distribution network of dealers and agents in Norway who install and maintain the systems. A dealership network for the UK and Mexico is being established.

 

The company has developed an ATEX radar dome, allowing radar systems to operate in hazards situations. Ideal for FPSOs, vessel traffic systems as well as bow radar for vessels such as LNG carriers. The dome can also be used as non-ATEX to ensure reduced environmental impact, and is straightforward to maintain, as it is weather protected. Access to the dome is through an inspection aperture.
